As interactive, integrative therapist with over 20 years of experience, I specialize in Individual, Child/Adolescent, Couples and Family Counseling. I draw from a range of theories, tools and techniques to best meet the needs of each patient. These may include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Distance Counseling, Guided Imagery, Person Centered Therapy and Play Therapy. I offer tools and techniques that are personalized and tailored to each patient. My approach is characterized by intuition, compassion, optimism and collaboration that provides support and constructive feedback to address any and all challenges you may be experiencing. I use an interactive approach and maintain a challenging yet warm, empathic, supportive, and encouraging presence. I operate from a place exploring patterns of behavior, originating from childhood and usually a function of our family and early experiences.

While I describe myself to be extremely empathetic and sympathetic, I shoot straight from the hip, offering interpretations which manage to help one not only be accountable for their behavior but also make them feel validated, heard, and accepted. My goal is to provide you with the most effective tools and techniques that are most suited to meet your particular needs. Most importantly, I lead each session with compassion and dedication while establishing a trusting bond so that my patients learn to approach their lives with courage and positivity, instead of judgement, fear, and/or negativity that may result in catastrophizing. Using compassion and empathy, I work with each patient to build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I work with a broad range of patients and specialties to help people improve their emotional well being, enhance their ability to engage in interpersonal relationships and to empower them with the tools necessary to take control of their lives.
