I am an out-of-network provider, which means services may be covered in full or in part by your insurance company. Payment is due at the time of your session, and you may then seek reimbursement directly from your insurance provider.
To make this process easier, I will provide you with a detailed monthly invoice (a “superbill”) that includes all the information your insurance company needs for reimbursement. I am also happy to support you in contacting your insurance company to confirm your out-of-network mental health benefits.
When calling your insurance company, you may find it helpful to ask:
- What are my out-of-network behavioral health benefits for outpatient services?
- How many outpatient therapy sessions are covered per year?
- What is the reimbursement rate per session?
- Do I need a physician referral before starting therapy?
Please note: most insurance companies only reimburse for services considered medically necessary. Certain services, such as forensic evaluations, may not be covered.
Fees
Please contact me for specific fee information. Reduced-rate sessions are available on a limited basis. Payment is due at the time of service, and I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. For forensic services, a retainer may be required, which will be determined based on your case.
Cancellation Policy
Your time and mine are both valuable. Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee. This policy helps me respect scheduling and provide consistent availability for all clients.
